Here's a quick gift idea using punches. I actually made 28 of them to give to my fellow demonstrators and people that came to my classes this week. Thanks to Angelica Gonzalez for naming this post. I have a group taking a class and asked for suggestion for a title for the snowmen.
I took Dawn Griffith's snowman and made them to cover my little boxes of Mrs. Field's Chocolates.
Here's the box that got covered. I found them at the $1 Spot at Target.
I used Shimmery White card stock and cut it 6 1/2" x 4 1/8". Score your paper at 1" - 2" - 3 7/8" and 4 7/8".
Fold all the score lines and place adhesive on the widest section.
Fold the non-adhesive section over the box and secure with the section with adhesive.
Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" for the hat and adhere with adhesive.
Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock 3/8" x 2 1/2". Slide one side under the opening of the Window Window Punch and lift the end up. Slide the other end just slightly above the curved end and punch. Do the other side so both are rounded.
Now take that piece and make white stitch marks using the white gel pen.
Adhere that piece to the bottom of the black piece and attach a Riding Hood Red flower that was punched from the Trio Flower Punch. I used a Mini Glue Dot.
Pretty In Pink Stamp Pad and a Sponge Dauber were used to put the cheeks on.
Place small dots of Tombow Adhesive for his eyes and nose.
Place 1/4" Basic Black circles for his eyes and the Only Orange piece from the Ticket Corner Punch for his nose.
Use 4 - 1/4" Basic Black Circles for his smile and adhere them with Mini Glue Dots.
To finish off your snowman, don't forget to put the white into his eyes and flower.
Here's a helpful hint for the contest listed here. She was adopted by Marilla Cuthbert and Matthew Cuthbert, middle-aged siblings who live together at Green Gables. Good luck!
