The first Saturday in October has been designated as World Card Making Day so I held classes on Friday and Saturday and we did this wonderful Stationery Box designed by Jackie Topa. You can get Jackie's directions here. The box we made was actually made by my down line, Jenny Kubo. Jenny made the box and gave it to me as a birthday gift. I KNOW, lucky me! Jenny is very talented and you can visit her blog here.
I was going to do the class using a Simply Scrappin' Kit, but a group of ladies wanted their's to look just like Jenny's, so that's what we did! Here we go.
Here's the front of the box. We used Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White Card Stock. AND the fabulous Bella Rose Designer Series Paper.
Here's a close-up of the lid.
When you remove the lid, you have a wonderful desktop like area. An address book, a place for your postage stamps, pen, love notes, tags and full size cards! Jackie Topa, you rock!
The labels were made on the computer using Stampin' Up!'s Passing Notes font and we used Riding Hood Red Taffeta for our ribbon.
Three different size tags were made for the box. The above one is the small tag.
Here's the medium tag.
and this is the large tag.
There are also three Love Notes. Here's one.
Here's two.
and here's three. The Love Notes are 3" square. Words used are from the retired set, "Small Script". Absolutely Fabulous and Short & Sweet sets were used in class.
There are 4 full size cards that were also made and I will post them tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!
