Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been such a long time between posts. I'm having dental and health issues right now but I'll be back on track, hopefully, in the next few weeks.
Today I spent my morning at Silvercrest. I really do love these ladies. Last month we started Explosion Boxes but I forgot to order the Designer Series Paper we needed so we made cards today.
The first one I CASE'd from Sue Lee over on SUDSOL. The only difference is I layered her basic card onto a Whisper White card.
Can you say...."I LOVE MY BIG SHOT!!!!" I used the Top Note die cut for the centerpiece, stamped the Upsy Daisy stamp twice, once in Baja Breeze and once in Not Quite Navy and added the words in Not Quite Navy Ink. Wrapped the Double Stitched Baja Breeze around the Not Quite Navy Card Stock, taped this piece on to the Whisper White Card and using Stampin' Dimensionals attached the Top Note to the card.
The second card is straight out of the Stampin' Up!'s 2008 Fall-Winter Idea Book and Catalog. Check out page 98. The card is smaller in the catalog so I just resized it to be an A2 card.
Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes
Card Stock: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White
Inks: Classic Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Window Word Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Vintage Brads, Urban Garden Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Dimensionals.
Both cards were easy and fast and my Seniors loved them.
If you live or will be in the Fresno area this Friday or Saturday, give me a call. I am having an Big Shot Open House. This event is FREE and you'll get to make a couple of things using the Big Shot. Click on my class schedule for more details.
I did have classes for the World Card Making Day this past Saturday and will share all the goodies tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by and again, sorry I haven't posted in awhile.
